SG is now using its experience and its association with cricketing legends to kick-start a chain of cricket coaching schools across the nation which will provide a unique and fulfilling learning experience to budding cricketers. A scientifically designed curriculum by an expert panel consisting of Sunil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid & Anshuman Gaekwad, NCA certified & experienced coaches, modern teaching methods & personalized attention to the performance and development of the participating kids are the features which make SG Cricket Schools different from other coaching programs.

SG cricket schools will adopt a structured methodology which will provide:

1. Learning in a safe & fun environment

2. Effective practice sessions for development of core techniques (batting, bowling & fielding)

3. Quality Match Days to allow participants to put their skills in practice in a competitive environment

This program aims to start a revolution in the cricket development at grassroots level in India. The program is already operational at Kochi and Madurai.

LAKSHYA stands for Looking at Knowledge in Sports & Helping Youth Achieve. It is a non-profit organization established to promote the sports culture in India. The aim of LAKSHYA is to identify and nurture young sports talent that would prominently put India on the world sports map.

LAKSHYA consulted SportzConsult for developing a sustainable model to identify and rank Olympic Medal winning talent in boxing in India. LAKSHYA would then nurture the talent by providing all the resources required for competing against the best in the world.

SportzConsult adopted a five stage progressive model for developing the Talent Identification & Monitoring System. After 18 weeks of focused research, which involved discussions with nearly every Arjuna & Dronacharya Award winner in boxing and eminent Sports Scientists from Army Sports Institute (pioneers in the field of Sports Medicine in India), SportzConsult developed an application, that, after analysing the factual, quantitative & qualitative data gathered about boxers, would generate measures – Talent Index™ and Performance Index™ – to rank boxers. These indices would respectively represent the boxer’s talent (ability) and the actual performance in tournaments. The first-of-its-kind application in the country is replicable and can be customized for other sports.
