Hero Honda Inter-School Athletic Meet

Hero Honda was looking to leverage its Commonwealth Delhi 2010 sponsorship as well as its partnership with Queen’s Baton Relay, among its prospective target consumers.
The main target group of the activity were the teenage school kids and our task was to design a school level athletics event which would capture the target segment’s attention and at the same time help Hero Honda create awareness about its association with the Commonwealth games.

SportzConsult conceptualized a 54-city Inter School Athletic Meet across the nation. The idea was to organize Inter-School Athletic meets in each city just before the Queen’s Baton was being taken to that city. It helped the client in creating awareness and hype around the Queen’s Baton relay as well as provided a perfect platform to showcase the brand and connect with its target segment.
SportzConsult designed and delivered the event successfully across 54 cities, including the logistics, staffing and on-ground support throughout.

Hero Honda Karizma ZMR Cricket Championship
|
Hero Honda was looking to leverage its association with ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 as a Global Sponsor. Hero Honda took this opportunity to promote “Karizma ZMR”, its top of the line brand through this association.
The target segment for the activity was college going males and SportzConsult was asked to create a College cricket event to create awareness and popularize Karizma ZMR among their target segment.
Karizma ZMR Cricket Championship was organized in 31 cities across India where around 6000 students from more than 400 colleges participated. The whole event was completed in 7 weeks.

The gratification for the event – “playing 11 members of winning teams from each location would get a chance to run a victory lap in the Stadium during ICC World Cup 2011 matches”, was a matter of great honour for the colleges, and was an instant win among the target segment.

Jagran Marathon - Run for the City
|
Dainik Jagran is a Hindi daily newspaper in India. It is also ranked as the No.1 daily newspaper with a total readership of around 50 million. Dainik Jagran has a strong presence in north India, especially in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and Punjab. Dainik Jagran wanted to increase their presence in the existing markets and increase their readership in north India.

SportzConsult designed a four city marathon in their target markets. The objective was to generate awareness on a large scale among masses and marathon provided that opportunity to interact with the target on a big scale. The marathon was organised simultaneously in four cities with a participation of more than twenty thousand people. The program was supported with extensive promotions in media as well as extensive on-ground activations. The marathon preceded twenty days of ground activations cum registration process, run camps were also organised to generate interest among the public and make them aware of the benefits to a healthy lifestyle.

Plantronics T20 BPO Cup
|
Plantronics, Inc. is a world's leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of lightweight communications headset products. Plantronics was looking to increase the awareness of its brand amongst its target group, which were essentially the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies.
As part of building the brand, Plantronics was looking for a platform to interact with their target customers and meet with the decision makers (CEO, GM, Head procurement etc.) in all these target firms, which would eventually help them in generating leads.

SportzConsult designed a T20 tournament for the corporates across 3 major cities – Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. A Director’s Cup for the senior management of the participating BPO companies was also organised. Cricket celebrities were also part of the Director’s cup. Employees and users from 75 firms participated in the tournament, which gave Plantronics a platform to showcase their product.
The event helped our client in generating awareness among their target firms and also helped them generate positive leads which eventually resulted in increase in their sales.
SportzConsult also helped Plantronics rope in Associate sponsors and Partners for the event to make it a grand success.
