Jitendra Joshi

Co-Founder and CEO

An entrepreneur and a sportsman at heart, Jitendra Joshi founded SportzConsult in 2008. Jitu is the CEO at SportzConsult. He brings over 15 years of work experience spanning technology consulting, sales and marketing to the table. Over last 8 years, he has interacted and consulted with over 100 companies helping them to leverage sports to meet their business objectives. Before founding SportzConsult, he worked with KPMG Consulting in the US for 5 years.

He loves football, athletics and cricket. He holds an Engineering degree from Mumbai University and an MBA from Clemson University, USA.

Shanti Rao

Director, Business Development

Shanti Rao currently serves as the Director, Business Development at SportzConsult. She brings over 18 years of Media Sales experience having worked in Print and TV. She started with UPDATE a Business magazine and has had stints with NRI Investment Opportunities and Sunday Mail and her last assignment was as Sr. Vice President - Ad Sales with STAR TV. She brings a well rounded all genre Media Sales experience to Sportz Consult.

Yogesh Shanbhag

Vice President, Business Development

Yogesh Shanbhag currently serves as Vice President, Business Development. He brings 5 years of work experience in sports management. Working with SportzVillage group since its inception, he has varied experience in marketing, sponsorships and creating sporting properties. Before joining SportzVillage, Yogesh has worked for 5 years in FMCG industry in sales & marketing division.

Yogesh has captained the college football team and was part of the hockey team besides representing college in lot of cultural activities. He is a chemical engineer with post graduation in Business management from IILM.

Asha Bandooni

Vice President, Marketing

Asha Bandooni currently serves as Vice President, Marketing and Media Tie-ups at SportzConsult. She brings over 10 years of work experience in Media planning and Communication. Her knowledge of media planning for brands is now being utilized for marketing and communications of the various sports properties. She is responsible for developing and marketing integrated sports events - customized, bundled sports properties with media. Before joining SportzConsult, she worked with media agencies like Rediffusion Media, Zenith Media & Starcom MediaVest. She has served for various accounts including Colgate, Parle Products, P&G and Future Group.

Asha holds a Post graduate diploma from NMIMS in Advertising and Communication management.

Balwant Joshi

Vice President, Client Servicing

Balwant Joshi currently serves as Vice-President, Client servicing. He brings over 12 years of experience in business development and customer service. He is with SportzVillage since inception and is part of the core team that develops and manages sports properties. He is currently leading the rural sports program.

Balwant is an avid quizzer and football fanatic. He holds Bachelor’s degree in Science and PGD in computer science.

Pramod Janardhanan

Associate Vice President, Client Servicing

Pramod Janardhanan currently serves as VP, Operations. He brings over 15 years of experience in client servicing & operations. A specialist in planning and event management, Pramod has been with the SportzConsult since its inception and today manages the all India Operations. He has been part of the core team that has created many unique properties at SportzConsult.

Apart from being an avid singer in school and college, he has also played district level football and hockey. Pramod holds a Bachelor’s degree in science from Mumbai University and an MBA from Institute of Technology and Management.

Manan Gupta

Vice President, Business Development

Manan Gupta currently serves as Vice President, Business Development. He brings with him excellent ideation and problem solving skills as well as great passion for sports. At SportzConsult, Manan has been involved in identifying key growth areas and developing unique sports properties. Manan has worked with Infosys Technologies Ltd. and Ocwen Financial Corp. prior to SportzConsult.

He is an avid sports follower and is a die-hard fan of FC Barcelona and Roger Federer. He is an IIT Kharagpur and IIM Indore graduate.

Dhananjay Kapse

Associate Vice President, Client Servicing

Dhananjay Kapse currently serves as Associate Vice President, Client Servicing. He brings over 5 years of work experience in sports Management. He specializes in planning and execution of sports events. Dhananjay has led the production of sports properties at national level. He has been part of the SportzVillage team since 2003.

Aanchal Aneja

Associate Vice President, Business Development

Aanchal is a persuasive devil’s advocate. She is a task master and believes in being a part of the solution rather than focusing on the problem. Her creative mind combined with a dynamic personality and passion for sports makes her a valuable part of the SportzConsult team. Prior to joining SportzConsult, Aanchal worked with the Transaction Advisory division of Ernst & Young Pvt. Ltd.

Aanchal played volleyball at the district level and loves to play table tennis as a hobby. Aanchal has completed her Bachelors from Narsee Monjee College, Mumbai and is a graduate from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad.

Rajiv Desai

Associate Vice President, Corporate Sports

Rajiv Desai currently serves as Associate Vice President, Corporate Sports. He brings over 3 years of work experience in sports management. He specializes in conceptualization and organizing sports events. He uses his creative energy in developing effective marketing programs for clients. Prior to SportzConsult, he was working with Mastek Ltd. for 3 years.

He loves Football, Tennis, Formula 1 and Cricket and wants to popularize the non popular sports in India. He has done his graduation in commerce and Masters in Computer Application from Mumbai University.

Praveen Kumar

Associate Vice President, Business Development

Praveen currently serves as Associate Vice President, Business Development. Praveen has worked in Asset management industry in the Product Development and Infrastructure Advisory prior to joining SportzConsult. Here in SportzConsult, Praveen is responsible for the Business Development.

Praveen loves to follow all kind of Sports and is die-hard fan of Real Madrid. Praveen is also an active badminton and football player. Praveen holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from NSIT, Delhi University and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad (IIMA).
